Problem with pysqlite2

Postby kisscussarab » Wed May 08, 2013 3:34 pm

Hi,

I am trying to setup sqlite3 version 3.7.16.2 with pysqlite2. I can build the pysqlite2 and generate the _sqlite.so file. When I test it and try and run the tests I get the following error:

Code: Select all
>>> from pysqlite2 import test
Traceback (most recent call last):
  File "<stdin>", line 1, in <module>
  File ".../pysqlite-2.6.3/build/lib.solaris-2.10-i86pc-2.6/pysqlite2/test/__init__.py", line 35, in <module>
    from pysqlite2.test import dbapi, types, userfunctions, factory, transactions,\
  File ".../pysqlite-2.6.3/build/lib.solaris-2.10-i86pc-2.6/pysqlite2/test/dbapi.py", line 27, in <module>
    import pysqlite2.dbapi2 as sqlite
  File ".../pysqlite-2.6.3/build/lib.solaris-2.10-i86pc-2.6/pysqlite2/dbapi2.py", line 27, in <module>
    from pysqlite2._sqlite import *
ImportError: ld.so.1: isapython2.6: fatal: relocation error: file .../pysqlite-2.6.3/build/lib.solaris-2.10-i86pc-2.6/pysqlite2/_sqlite.so: symbol sqlite3_complete: referenced symbol not found

Could you please if you know let me know what I am doing wrong.

Thanks!

Any reason you're not using the sqlite3 module in the standard library?
