I am producing software that would benefit from having a Python scripting front-end. For legacy reasons it is written in Objective-C based on GNUstep on Linux (i.e. not Cocoa on MacOS X). Does anyone know how I could add Python to it?
I have looked at PyObjC but it does not appear to work with GNUstep. I can live without having access to my underlying objects (although would prefer it if possible) as I could wrap the small number I am interested in using C structures.
I have investigated some modules like Cython, but it appears to need a C library for my code and I don't think it would work with the Objective-C run-time environment.
Any suggestions welcome...
