Tile operation in numpy

Postby tcp » Wed Oct 23, 2013 1:04 pm

I have a problem finding what does
Code: Select all
numpy.tile([0,1,2],(2,2))
and
Code: Select all
numpy.tile([0,1,2], (2, 1, 2))
do?

OUTPUT 1:
Code: Select all
array([[0, 1, 2, 0, 1, 2], [0, 1, 2, 0, 1, 2]])

OUTPUT 2:
Code: Select all
array([[[0, 1, 2, 0, 1, 2]], [[0, 1, 2, 0, 1, 2]]])
