Newbie in development chosing a gui framework

I want to create a software in python with gui and that is my first time i am going to do something like this so if you can help me by giving me informations to start from somewhere, whcich framework should i learn and about libraries, modules and other programs which can help me create the desired program

This is a very broad question, there are lots of different GUI libraries here is an overwhelming list http://wiki.python.org/moin/GuiProgramming.
It depends on what version of python your using and what type of GUI application you want to make and then it also comes down to personal preference.
Also if you don't know python at all and your just plunging straight into GUI you should learn some basic python first.
The main contenders in alphabetical order i would guess are
