how to save configuration pages of a router?

Postby Duc Bui » Tue Jul 26, 2016 9:22 am

Hi All,
I connected linux virtual machine (using python) to the router (built on GNS3). I telnet from virtual machines to the router, use the "show running-config" command, how to save pages in the running-config (use script python)? :(
Thank you very much!

back when i administered routers (mostly Cisco) i used pexpect to log in and capture their configs and states. this is how i was first exposed to python coding.
