Promoting Python

Postby Sigord » Fri Apr 08, 2016 8:18 am

If anyone cares to convert my code at http://www.sigord.co.uk/ shown on the right to Python, I renounce my copyright for them to do so. If you have any problem locating the original BASIC contact me at gordonsweet2000@yahoo.co.uk

But if successfull please let me have a copy or your complete code and create an EXE file for uploading to a PYTHON page I will upload.

I am still struggling how to even COPY and PASTE Python examples.

I'm not sure what exactly you want in Python, but it's pretty improbable that anyone would do it for you. If you want to give it a try, we'd be delighted to help you through learning Python.
Due to the reasons discussed here we will be moving to python-forum.io on October 1, 2016.

This forum will be locked down and no one will be able to post/edit/create threads, etc. here from thereafter. Please create an account at the new site to continue discussion.

In Python indentation is important, and copy/paste can alter it if you aren't careful.

Converting code is usually the wrong option. Go back to the original specs, and write from scratch.
This forum has been moved to http://python-forum.io/. See you there.
