serial port general question

Postby merlin2049er » Mon Aug 19, 2013 1:42 pm

Hi,

I'm going to be connecting to a raspberry pi via bluetooth (serial port) and will be sending results thru the serial port.
I'd like to know if there are any examples out there.

I'm sure you can easily do this using the terminal program, but I'd like to format the results.

Thanks,
Joe

Terminal program? Do you mean pyserial? pyserial is what you want, and there are plenty of examples out there (i.e. search pyserial example). That should do it for you.
Python: 2.7 via Anaconda
Numpy: 1.7
Pandas: 0.11
OS: Windows 7
IDE: Spyder/IPython
