Stupid Python Errors

What's the stupid Python error you make the most when coding?

For me, it's got to be:

Code: Select all
if programmer = 'stupid':
    print('They forgot an equals sign')

Missing colons. And adding pointless semicolons.

Refactoring to and from list and set, having forgotten that add() and append() are different.

Adding useless semicolons--a carryover from Matlab and C.

Also, confusing Python 2 with Python 3.Sometimes I add python2 syntax to my python3 code by accident, and then spend *quite a while* trying to figure out why the code doesn't work properly.
